FSC® Certification
Since 2001, as part of one of the pioneering companies in Chile to achieve certification, our team has provided technical leadership throughout the FSC® certification process (FSC-C135252) for its clients. This extensive experience ensures management practices aligned with the commercial requirements of institutional markets.
In addition to forest assets, this certification covers the chain of custody of the products marketed. In this way, we support environmentally responsible, socially beneficial, and economically viable forest management across the entire portfolio.
Forest Management Standards
The companies managed by CAMBIUM in both Chile and Uruguay hold FSC® certification (FSC-C135252). This internationally recognized certification provides objective assurance that forest properties are managed under technical policies designed to rigorously safeguard long-term investment value.
Maintaining these standards ensures a consistent and unified operating framework for assets in both regions. This helps optimize commercial performance while ensuring full transparency of the forest portfolio for global investment committees.

These work procedures are mandatory and apply without exception to all activities conducted on properties managed by CAMBIUM. Their scope covers both the protection of our workforce and the operational continuity and reliability of the entire portfolio.
Operational Coverage
The company’s prevention policies and safety manuals are designed to provide comprehensive protection for every individual interacting with the assets under management. This applies directly to all CAMBIUM personnel and to all employees of contractors and subcontractors providing services across the forest portfolio.
Likewise, our safety and operational control guidelines apply strictly to visitors, consultants, and any other third parties entering work sites or properties managed by CAMBIUM. This ensures a controlled operating environment while minimizing exposure to incidents that could disrupt normal operations.
Auditing and Oversight
The proper and effective implementation of each established safety procedure is systematically monitored through an ongoing program of field audits, safeguarding both the technical integrity and regulatory compliance of our operating processes.
These periodic assessments at properties in Chile and Uruguay are conducted by specialized external advisors working alongside CAMBIUM’s field-based technical personnel. This approach ensures transparent reporting and effective risk mitigation across the institutional portfolio.
